Downstream is a unique "cross-section" of a river.   In places, it shows the surface of the flowing water and in others, it suggests the space under the water.   Only a slice of some rounded river rocks are revealed.   The composition is accented by a perched spotted sand piper above and a lurking trout underneath.    (next sculpture)
