Valley Quail -- The california quail, like the meadowlark and mourning dove, have such elegant form and wonderful, familiar vocalizations.    When I think about the environments where I usually see quail, I can't help but smell the surrounding freshness of the morning or late afternoon.   Valley Quail is a romantic piece and appropriately features only one pair of quail.   (next sculpture)
