In Tundra Tercel, the falcon is depicted in translucent Turkish marble. This is a fragile but potentially lasting tribute to the grace that can be found in the arctic wilderness. For me, the rough stone support form in this piece provides an important juxtaposition. A beautiful, unforgiving, raw land supports, within its thin ecosystem, some of the most elegant wildlife in the world.   (next sculpture)
