Stretching Cat   is one of three different domestic long-haired cat poses that were commissioned by some cat loving friends in 1998.   They live almost two hours away from my home, but I found useful reference much closer.   My superb model was at the home of a dedicated cat family who also happen to take uniquely good care of a siberian lynx and bobcat.   It was amusing to be sculpting the domestic cat when in the company of all three!    (next sculpture)
