Ever since sculpting Western Box, a box turtle completely withdrawn inside of her shell, Square Dance was a sculpture waiting to happen.   The confident western box is now out for a walk.   The day is good and optimism is in the air!   Regarding this work, I am particularly grateful to the employees at the local pet store who facilitated my back room access to my number one model.  (next sculpture)
