Roseven   The hummingbirds become little focal points on this 38 inch high support form.   The support form, which is very loosely based on a female figure, is designed to move the viewer’s eye all around the piece.   Even though roses are not flowers of choice for "hummers", an insect meal would certainly be very possible in this part of the garden.   I simply found that the rose was best suited for the composition and material.     (next sculpture)
