Owly was sculpted during my residency at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson, WY. My model was a great horned owl that had been hit by a car and couldn't fly but was saved by my friends Roger and Margaret Smith. It has since become a celebrity environmental education bird in the region.   (next sculpture)
