Orchid VIII   is of my series of glass compositions that utilize polished or non-painted bronze orca whale forms.   One of the goals I set out for myself in this series was to play with color and to have some fun.   The abstract idea of combining orca whales and orchid flowers together is the basis for the title.    (next sculpture)
