Orchid VI    is a site specific piece, in my series of glass compositions, that utilize polished or non-painted bronze orca whale forms.   The abstract idea of combining orca whales and orchid flowers together is the basis for the title.    I was pleased with how the bronze support form came out in this sculpture.    By itself, it almost looks like a person with their arms held up.    (next sculpture)
