Harlequin

Harlequin  is a unique marble carving of a Harlequin duck. I was delighted by the strong patterning which appeared in this stone, almost magically suggesting the striking marks of the handsome male harlequin. We occasionally see these sea ducks along the Northwest Coast where I live, especially when observing activity around rocky exposed shorelines.   (next sculpture)
