Habitat-tat resulted from an exploration of various support forms for the 12 inch long maquette that I sculpted of a woodpecker. This maquette was initially made in preparation for the six foot tall Northern Flicker Monument that I was commissioned to make by the Washington State Arts Commission.    (next sculpture)
