Blue Swan   takes the swan from my sculpture titled Aaron's Swan, and places it into an opened blown glass form.   In making this sculpture, I welded a long handle to the back of the swan so I could push the swan into the soft hot glass that glass artist John de Wit had blown for me.   I then removed the swan while we annealed the glass and brought it down to room temperature.    (next sculpture)
